The Center for Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Patras Medical School, Department of Pharmacology provides theoretical training as well as on-site technical training in the fields of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Trainees are usually scientists working in the pharmaceutical industry, medical doctors, and lawyers interested in increasing their competitiveness and strengthening their position in their workplace by acquiring new applicable skills in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Course instructors are members of the faculty of the Pharmacology Department at the University of Patras Medical School, with more than 25 years of teaching and research experience. Theoretical training is provided through recorded presentations posted on our online e-Learning platform and includes courses in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. After attending all courses, trainees are offered an online multiple choice examination to confirm their successful attendance.
Following successful completion of theoretical training, practical training is performed in the laboratory facilities of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Patras Medical School where trainees receive hands-on experience in advanced analytical methodologies such as liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MSMS).
A basic tuition is charged for obtaining theoretical training. For subsequent practical training, additional tuition is charged for onsite attendance at the facilities of the Center in the city of Patras. For more information please contact us.
